On April 6th new tax rules come into effect that will have an impact on those firms that hire contractors as well as on the contractors themselves. The introduction of the Off-Payroll legislation will mean that medium and large businesses will be responsible for determining the IR35 status of their contractors with many already opting to ban the hiring of limited company contractors.
