The loan charge seeks to recover unpaid taxes on remuneration that was paid tax free under a disguised remuneration of loans.

The Low Incomes Tax Reform Group has produced some excellent guidance on this for anyone affected.

There is also further guidance if you have the 30th September 2020 as a deadline.
