There is no denying that 2020 was quite a year and none more so than for the UK’s freelancers and contractors. Covid-19 saw many lose work overnight and many have seen little support from the Government. Then the New Year heralded in Brexit which once again brings much uncertainty and a whole load of challenges for the country as a whole. And, as if those two combined wasn’t enough the third blow will see freelancers reeling again on April 6th when new tax rules come into effect.
