The UK government passed on adding umbrella company regulation amendments to the Finance Bill in a vote in Parliament last night.
The amendments would see a clampdown on non-compliance in the umbrella sector and would have made agencies liable for unpaid tax if they worked with non-compliant umbrella companies.
